Trying to search for movies in my collection that are not 1080p

I was hoping to be able to use Advanced filters to search my library for titles that are NOT currently available in 1080p, however, the only option seems to be to match a resolution. Is there something I’m missing or does this need to be a feature request?

I guess this is indeed not working.
Have you considered sorting the library by resolution?

Well, I thought you might be on to something there, and to be honest, your suggestion was almost perfect. However, If I use the advanced filter to look for 720 and then sort by resolution, the result is the available resolution is shown in the list of items, however, it is still sorted in alphabetical order.

I guess it will have to work, but this really needs to be improved. To be honest, the perfect solution would be if it could show movies that are not 1080p, but unfortunately, there is not a “not” option for resolution.

Agree it would be nice to have a “not” option.

In the meantime, two other options…

WebTools NG

Using the Export Tools section, you can export a CSV file with media properties.

You can use an existing filter or define a custom filter (screenshot below).

Example:

"Title","Media Video Resolution"
"3:10 to Yuma","1080"
"12 Angry Men","480"
"12 Strong","1080"
"50 to 1","480"

Also, Tautulli

It has a Media Info page for each library. There are multiple columns, including resolution (click on the column name to sort). The information can also be exported into a CSV file.

Custom Filter configuration for WebTools

Thanks, I’ll take a look at WebTools, I think I already have it installed, but Tautulli does not work as it only sees one resolution if a file actually has two.

Good to know. I did not check that situation.

Thanks.

Edit: Checked WebTools.

It reports multiple resolutions.

I’ve one movie where I have a 1080p version and a 720p version.

WebTools exports it as "1080-720".

Thanks for the heads up, marked as the solution.
