It looks like it is going to work, it scans the channels, it gets the local over the air broadcast info for the program guide, however right at the end when I hit continue it throws an error “There was a problem saving your DVR. Please try again”
Anyone have any tips or tricks?
Sounds like a write issue to the DB. Maybe a corrupted DB? You can try backing it up, and with a fresh install seeing if it works any better, and if it does, then try restoring your backup?
I will give that a shot, although I’m not entirely sure if that’s the issue or not to be honest.
I think the issue is with the program guide, I can deselect all channels and it will complete the process just fine, I can then go back in and add channels one by one until I find one that doesn’t work, then I have to skip that one channel and keep going down the list until I find more that don’t work. It’s tedious sure, but it works. The only problem now is that one of the non functioning channels happens to be FOX, otherwise its mostly stuff I don’t care about anyways.
