I’ve generated a discount coupon for WD (US), which is not working when i apply in checkout cart, nothing happens. The screen just refreshes, with no error.
It looks like their store is having issues. Might try again later.
I just gave it a try. The coupon was applied correctly. The list price had a strikethrough, and the discounted price was correctly listed. However, the shopping cart page was having trouble. None of the pictures loaded correctly.
Sadly, it still does not work. Also, the item on WD is already strike-through when I add them to Cart, which i assume WD providing some discount on them. But I’ve read through on this and the Plex Perks discount is gonna be an additional 20% off on the price we’re getting in cart.
Is there anyway it can be reported to underlying authorities (Plex/WD) so it can be fixed timely?
I think generating the coupon set some cookies (or something similar) so the discount would automatically appear. All the discounts I noticed were 20%, the same as the Plex Perk.
If I go to shop.wd.com with a different browser and add something to the cart, it shows full price.

Damn, I missed that. that could be it. I tried opening a fresh browser & incognito, I still got the MyBook I’m trying to buy with a discounted price and it says “promo price” as sub text so i think WD already have a promo applied here, so Plex Promo code not getting applied.
Essentially, good luck finding product on WD website that is not already marked as discounted to begin with. I was poking around for ~20 minutes with no luck. Everything is marked as discounted, so the whole discount code from Plex is worth its weight in bits. Some perk
