Tuner setup not allowing for correct EPG match changes

Server Version#: 1.25.5577-c8bd13540
Player Version#: 4.69.1?
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomerun Flex 4k
Guide/Lineup name: Local Broadcast Listings (215 channels)
Using XMLTV?: no
Channel number/Name:
24.1 Current: Grit Should be: ABC / KVUE
24.2 Current: Grio Should be: NVUE
24.3 Current: SBN Should be: Crime
24.4 Current: News Should be: Quest
24.6 Current: Court Should be: Twist
42.1 Current: Family Should be: CBS
107.1 Current: No listing Should be: FOX-UHD

I am trying to setup the HDHomerun, but the Tuner setup page is not allowing/saving any changes to the EPG channel choice. There are multiple listings for the same channel number, with different names (and hence different programming schedules) Current listings above are what Plex is insisting be used, items to the right are what they are supposed to be.

I think I just ran into the exact same issue. The reason why you can’t select/save the correct match is because Plex “auto matched” the same EPG source to a different channel already.
So you are essentially trying to link 1 EPG source to 2 different channels.

Here is how I fixed it:

  1. EPG setup → continue (just ignore all the wrong mappings)
  2. abort EPG grabbing
  3. click on the highlighted channels text on the tuner to get back into the EPG mapping
  4. disable ALL channels (which clears all EPG mappings)
  5. save
  6. click on the highlighted channels text to get back into the EPG mapping

now enable the channels one by one and select the correct EPG source.
