I ve been using Plex for years on an HTPC (Windows 10) and a roku.Not by any means an expert but usually I am able to eventually figure things out.This problem I have been unable to solve.I have included some screen grabs that will hopefully help.
Basically the artwork etc for my movies is fine but not tv shows.What’s odd is that tv shows were working fine but at some point they stopped working and (to the best of my memory) I had not changed any settings.
I have tried reading articles in this forum and tried various possible solutions.The reult being the artwork etc that was there is now gone.

For what it’s worth-installed latest version of plex to my wife’s laptop.Moved one of the problem tv shows to her laptop.Worked as it should.Not surprised.
Oh well-off to whack another technology mole.Now no remotes(I have universal plus original) will work with my roku unless I back out to home and go back in.

Pretty much solved the problem by making tv shows library that points to a new file.I had moved (not copied) the various tv files to the new file before creating the new library.That triggered a refresh that made everything good.
Now if I could figure out how to delete the unused “tv shows”.I unpinned it so I don’t see it but the OCD in me wants it gone.
I’ve suffered this same problem since a fall 2021 update, no thumbnail cover art being generated for my Media Center WTV recording files, which are handled in Plex as an Other Video library, with the Personal Media agent.
Turns out to be a Plex Media Server (PMS) bug introduced in a fall 2021 update. Downgrading to 5173 from late October brought back my cover art.
That makes sense as I seem to remember that’s when artwork started having a problem. I didn’t start messing around with various setting until after I had an issue.
