TV Episodes metadata not loading (sometimes)

Recently I have been noticing issues with TV metadata not loading sometimes, and other times it will take a very long time to populate.

Every movie I add, gathers and populates metadata in ~10-20 seconds. TV episodes will sometimes populate just as quick, but it’s hit or miss. Yesterday I added a few episodes that have not populated the metadata in Plex, but it seems that it completed downloading the metadata.

I have removed the cache dir’s and restarted the docker. Tried re-downloading metadata. Download finishes, nothing populates in Plex. Also per the post I came across pertaining to the cache, the entire directory under config is chown’d by the correct user and the docker is set to use that PUID/PGID.

I also tried check marking The Movie Database in the TheTVDB agent to give it another source to gather from. No luck.

I added 7 total episodes yesterday. Four populated their metadata. Four of seven of the episodes are for the same show. Only one of those four episodes populated its metadata.

Most posts I have read go on to ask about the naming scheme. All of my TV folders are named as such:
Series/Series - Season X/Series - SxEE - Episode Name.WEBDL-QUALITY.mkv

I have even attempted removing it from its directory, renaming it without the WEBDL-QUALITY and re-adding it. Feeling stumped.

You need to capture server logs after you add media and it does not get metadata

Sorry forgot to attach this. Restarted the docker, removed files and re-added them, let it sit for a little while to attempt to populate. Downloaded logs and attached.

Well… now that I attached the logs. They finally updated metadata. I added those to the Library yesterday though and nothing had changed before I started posted. This has been happening a lot lately though where it takes a VERY long time for tv episodes to update. It’s frustrating! Lol :#

You will need to get logs soon after the problem arises and indicate what show / episode etc did not get metadata

Looking at your logs, you do not appear to be following the naming standards for Plex

Following the guidelines / naming standards, it should be

Arrow/
      Season 6/
             Arrow - s6e16 - The Thanatos Guild.WEBDL-1080p.en.srt
             Arrow - s6e16 - The Thanatos Guild.WEBDL-1080p.mkv
