TV files not found

Hello. I am a new Plex user and I need a bit of help. I have a QNAP TS-251+ NAS box that hosts plex. I have a challenge with the library type ‘TV programmes’.
So in Plex, I added a new library called Movies and chose the Library type ‘Films’. Plex finds my shared folder and adds the movies to my library. I then created a new library called TV shows and made the library type ‘TV Programmes’. This time Plex does not add any files that I have added to my folder. I have tried uploading my programmes using File Station and Qnap Qfinder pro, and I can confirm the files are resident on the NAS box, but plex refuses to add them to the library.
If I delete the library and make a new one called TV Shows but this time I tell it that the library type is ‘Films’, it adds the uploads to the library. So it works when the library type is set to ‘Films’ but does not work when it is set to ‘TV Programmes’

Make sure you are using the file naming schema that the server expects. https://support.plex.tv/articles/categories/your-media/naming-and-organizing-tv-shows/

You can look at the server logs ( specifically the PLex Media Scanner.log) that should say why they are being ignored assuming even sees the files

I suppose it could be file permissions too, so check the permissions on the files/folders
