I seem to always have trouble getting the TV Guide info to load. On my Fire Stick it just says “Loading” for every channel and I don’t have any way of seeing what’s on. When I check it through the web player, it says “Unknown Airing”.
If I go into the server’s TV/DVR section, and click Refresh Guide, it seems to reload the info. I then have to force close the app on the fire stick and go back into Plex, and the guide will then load.
Is there some way to fix this problem? A setting I can change? Anything?
Hello there. Got pinged about this thread. Do you allow your server to go to sleep? The guide is set to update once every 24 hours. If your server is sleeping when it’s set to update, it will not wake itself up to perform the update.
Nope. My server is just a Windows 10 desktop with all power and sleep things turned off. Sometimes the guide loads when I go into the Plex app and sometimes it doesn’t. If I manually go to the website and click the button to refresh, and then I go for close the app and stuff like that, I think it usually works. It just seems unreliable.
