Since the last plex update (I’m now on 1.14.1.5488) my stacked TV movies in Plex are being incorrectly matched. For example I have Movies/Impact (2009)/Impact (2009) - part1.mp4 and Movies/Impact (2009)/Impact (2009) - part2.mp4. Before the update, TMDb was matching it to the correct Impact (2009) just fine. But all of a sudden it refuses to match it, I can’t even search it manually under the “Fix Match” option. It does the same with any other stacked TV movie like Rose Red (2002) or Nightmares & Dreamscapes From the Stories of Stephen King (2006). But single file TV movies like Stephen King’s IT (1990) appear fine. Does it ahve something to do with TMDb categorizing Impact (2009) as TV and not a movie? Any help would be awesome!
Update: The Tommyknockers (1993) matches fine, even though TMDb technically lists it as a TV miniseries. Plex pulls that data fine…it looks like it’s completely random whether or not it picks up the tv movie metadata…what gives??
Really? Did this happen recently? It just grates on my OCD to have some TV movies matched fine and others missing metadata unless I move them to TV shows…can we ask tmdb to move them back at all?
So I was kind of counting on the latest plex update to fix this issue, but no dice. Metadata for stuff like Stephen King’s IT pull perfect off of the movie database even though it’s technically listed as a tv show. Through the Fix Match function, I can see the correct match but when I select it, none of the metadata pulls. Why would it show me the option if I can’t pull it?
The Shining (1997) partially matches, it fills in most the available data. But I don’t understand why something that worked once all the sudden broke of it’s own accord, I’ve never had an issue with TV Movies before now. I’ll have to go back and fill in the metadata manually which is a real hassle

One last question though because my OCD needs to ask it lol what about It (1990) every source I find lists it as a mini series as well, not a movie, but refreshing metadata, or even doing the plex dance with the file, pulls the entire metadata correctly. Why is this one still matching?
