TV Scanner returning incorrect result

Hi

I think I´ve stumbled across an error in the scanner - or maybe in the underlying data in Plex Series Scanner databanks.

My title:
“Days That Shook the World”

should be matched to this:
Days That Shook the World - TheTVDB.com //
"Days That Shook the World" Wright Brothers First Flight/Apollo Moon Landing (TV Episode 2003) - IMDb

For Season 1 Episode 1 it should thus return
“S1.E1 ∙ Wright Brothers First Flight/Apollo Moon Landing”

It omits S1E01 though and thus E2 becomes E1, E3 becomes E2 and so forth.

The files are all there and they meet the naming convention.

Anyone?

Edit the show at its highest level
go to the Advanced tab
set Episode Ordering to “TheTVDB (Aired)”
Refresh Metadata of the whole show.

Did you dig into your TVDB link? It shows that
The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II/The Death of Diana
is S01E01, and Pilot: The Wright Brothers/Apollo 11’s Moon Landing is a special - S00E01.

Both TMDB and TVDB list that episode as a special, not part of season one.

You’ll need to rename your files to match listings at those sites.

Episode numbers at IMDb. com have no significance in Plex, btw.
Only TheMovieDB.org and TheTVDB.com are used for tv shows.

OK, so first let me apologize for not realizing this in the first place!

I have now made the changes suggested above (reordering, changed file to S00E01), but still I am getting the same result. I even unmatched the thing and performed a new match.

It is still showing 13 Episodes on S01 with Episode 13 being the file that is named *S00E01 and thus not being matched to anything. It just says “Episode 13”.

It seems I am still doing sth wrong here (?).

After wrong matches and subsequent renamings, you may need to perform the Plex dance.

Did the dance. I am a happy camper now
THX my man !
