Some of my TV seasons are being added with the file name as the episode title.
Why is this happening and how can I correct it.

Which agent are you using? what meta data agent order are you using? what is your folder structure?
What is the format of the filenames? They were definitely added in Plex as TV and not one of the other categories? I believe what you are seeing is what you will get if the filename cant be identified in one of the online databases.

No, of the file name can’t be identified, you’ll only see ‘Episode x’ as title.
More likely are embedded metadata. Move down the ‘Local Media Assets’ agent so it sits below the line ‘TheTVDB’ under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
Then perform the Plex Dance with the show or the season.
