Added a classic TV Show yesterday, Lone Ranger, and when I opened my PLEX viewer, I see that it has been added as a Recently Added Movie. Digging further it is in my TV folder and appears in my TV Shows category, not in Movies. How do I get it out?
It sounds like it’s inside your movies folder on your storage medium. Move it out of there and run a library scan.
No, I’ve looked and it is not there. It is sitting correctly in the TV folder. I’ve re-scanned and optimized, no difference. My next option is to move the folder out. re-scan and then add the folder back - all in TV.
Another possibility is that this folder is added incorrectly to your Movies. When you edit your Movie library what folders are added there?
E.g.)
BINGO! Somehow the root folder /Media was added along with /Media/Movies. Removed that entry and the scan cleaned everything up.
