Not sure why it’s doing this, It was adding them to the TV folder, but then started saving episodes to my movie folder instead. I can fix it by copying out of the TV folder and into the Movie folder, but having to do this time after time is a pain.
Could it be the meta data source that I have assigned to my tv shows being an issue? It seems to be one particular show, “America, Facts Vs. Fiction”.
Are you referring to some other program you have saving the files in the wrong place? I don’t see how Plex is involved in this.
I’ve a silicon dust hdhomerun prime set up as my DVR and use it’s integration with Plex. I’ve 2 separate directories set up on the server, one is for movies and the other for TV shows. I use Plex program guide to setup the recordings, for some reason it will place this show in the movies section of Plex as well as the movie directory. I’m using the Commercial Removal option as well as the Trans-code While Recording option. I then have to manually move them to the TV Folder. No other programs are accessing the files to the best of knowledge as this is a windows 10 system dedicated to running the plex server. It seems to be just this program so far. I’ll try turning off both those options and re-enable one at a time to see if that might correct the issue.
