I have two PC’s with Plex Media Server installed. PC A guide shows matlock new and set to record. At least that is what I think the red circle with 3 white dots means. PC A schedule also indicates that Matlock will record. PC B guide also says that Matlock is new and set to record. But PC B dvr scheduel does not show Matlock scheduled to be recorded. The next day only PC A recorded Matlock.
Why didn’t PC B record the show.
Most of this is just learning how Plex does things versus how you are use to doing it.
First is including information and tagging your posts with OS and Topic Category like Live TV & DVR to get the right eyes on it. It is also requested to include at least the server version, but helps if you include all the following:

Now for your question, you would need to include the logs from the server that didn’t record to answer. You should know ahead of time that the Scheduler that Plex uses requires that the PC not be put in sleep mode or turned off. Also PC A and PC B must not be pointing to the same physical storage location.

When referencing the storage location it is in reference to where the programs are being recorded to. It is fine for multiple servers to point to the same media locations provided no recording is taking place.

I dont know what you mean by guide/lineup. I installed the tuner using zipcode 48180. When I look at liveTV it shows favorites/PC A on PC A and on PC B it shows favorites/PC B.
I have no idea about XMLTV. I have Plex Media Server installed on two windows 11 PC’s. They each record to a folder called Recordings. Each PC records to its own Recordings folder.
As I stated PC A had in the PC A guide that matlock was set to record. The same thing on PC B’s guide. But only PC A showed that Matlock was scheduled to record. I suspect that for some reason PC B is showing PC A guide. I try to make sure that the sources on each PC only has tyhere name available. But I did notice that today when I was gathering the information about the information that you requested. That PC B was only Showing PC A guide not PC B.
