TV Show extra's not showing up

I have a TV Show that I’ve added some extra’s (Other, Behind The Scenes and Shorts) and I’ve used the recommended folder and naming convention:

F:\TV Shows\Show Name\Other (and Behind The Scenes & Shorts)

And I’ve appended -other or -behindthescenes or -shorts to the files in those folders.

I also have folders for each season but the extra’s are in the root of the show’s folder as above. The Season 01 or 02 folder is a sub folder of the show name folder.

However, none of them show up in either the Web or via Roku.

This was a show that I had and I am re-encoding the DVD’s for a higher resolution. Before copying the new folders over I deleted the seasons and the new seasons are showing up just fine but not the extras. According to the support matrix, Plex should pick them up and display them, correct? Is there something else I need to do?

Have you tried doing a Refresh Metadata?

No, I had not but just did and I see them now. Thanks for the suggestion!

As a side note:
You shouldn’t mix subfolder and file name suffix approaches. If you put the extras in an extra-type subfolder, there’s no need for the suffix.

Good tip. Is there a problem if you do though? I included it so I knew what folder the material needed to go in. It made sorting through a lot of extras very simple.

There’s at least been reports in the past when this caused trouble.
