Thanks, i’ll look at that now. I’m not too concerned about the format, just had that one for many years.
Just to Add if rename the folder and put the date in, the series is found in Plex.
Changed the file naming to be S01E01 now. Just to work out how to split at Show level. Ok found the “Split Apart”. Pressed that, taken back to the library. Not sure what to do next, will see what has happened.
EDIT: BEAUTIFUL! Worked it out. Both shows are now independent.
Ony thing I have noticed, after doing the spilt / Manual Match method. It doesn’t add the show to the “Recently Added TV Shows” But no biggie.
Thank you all for your help and patience!
That’s a side effect of the Split. It uses the AddedAt date of the other show.
If you want to avoid that, use a less-ambiguous naming of the show folder.
The new agent allows you to use the ID’s of TheTVDB or TheMovieDB for a 100% certain match.

Absolute legends…
Now if only all of the people coming here paid attention to the naming schema, 90% of issues wouldnt be asked
Fair point, however in most parts I was, except for the original kodi style season / episode.
The date and id are optional.
I’ve been using Plex for a couple of years and not really had a problem before with matching, and thought the naming was doing a good job.
I appreciate the help especially as I wasn’t aware of the new scanner and additional optional extras.
