Hi I have media files for a TV show in episode format, but my TV show library does not pick them up. When added to movie library, they are. How can I fix this please?
A specific example might work. Things in a s01e01 format usually don’t show up in a movie library.
Chances are if it’s showing up in a movie library the major players like TVDB and TMDB have deemed it a movie and not a TV show
Plex doesn’t like “Episode”
All TV show titles have to be in a “S01E01” format
Also in the show folder you should put the 2003 in parenthesis (2003)
This is pretty easy to use. You can rename entire shows to match what I just showed you very easily instead of typing everything out
