I know this question has been asked before. But, I am confused why TV Show local extras don’t the same as Movies. I have multiple DVD extras (Interviews, Behind the Scenes, Bloopers, etc) from my DVD TV sets that I am ripping. Can I put in a request to have Plex support Local Extras in the same way that Movies does? It would be nice to be able to use this folder structure whether it be a Show wide extra or Season 1 … 2 special extra! Is this a feature that has been brought up before and perhaps already being worked on?
I saw the information on how to put this content in a separate season folder named Season 00 or Specials. This works, but like the article says there is no fancy posts or metadata.
I really want to have the extras segmented off per Season like they were with the DVD sets. Also, for some reason if I employ this work around by using the Specials folder and naming the file something like - he Big Bang Theory - S00E99 - Interview.m4v It will show a specials folder and have the video in it just labeled Episode 99 and not the name of the file. If I can’t get the file to show up in Plex with the filename I set then this workaround won’t work for me.
