TV Shows not coming up

I updated my FreeNAS server which is running Plex a s a jail. When I scan my TV show media folder, it initially sees the folder but as it continues the scan, it no longer shows up. It was working before. They are .mkv files. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Not really enough info to help. Are you following the naming convention exactly? If not, that is most likely your problem. PLEX works with odd naming until it doesn’t, so just because it worked in the past doesn’t mean it will continue to work. https://support.plex.tv/articles/categories/media-preparation/naming-and-organizing-tv-shows/

On a NAS the most prevalent problem is folder and file permissions - check to assure they have not changed due to a patch or SW upgrade.

So I deleted my Tv Show library and cleared the cache and the trash. Re create the library and during the initial scan I see Madam Secretary, all the seasons and all the episode but after the scan is over it is no longer there.

Here is the error:

Part of the problem may be you are not following the naming convention since the errors show the folder and name cannot be reconciled:

Show name is Madame_Secretary (with an underscore) and the file is Madam.Secretary… (with a dot) highly recommend not using dots.
Should be:
TV Shows/Madam Secretary/Season 05/Madam Secretary - S05E07 - 1080p.WEB.H264-METCON 5b7a8bb3645843f6960805a8533234e1.mkv (don’t use a slash after METCON ).
There are several free and cheap products to assist in bulk renaming two of which are FileBot (cheap) and Rename My TV Series (free)

Season number has two digits. Use dashes not dots. All the rules are: https://support.plex.tv/articles/200220687-naming-series-season-based-tv-shows/

Just because it used to work doesn’t mean it will continue to work. All alternate naming conventions eventually die, but the PLEX format is 99.99% solid.
