I am truly sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I have looked and didn’t see where I should put this. I have also looked at all the TV Shows sync problems and posts and couldn’t find my problem. So here I am!
The problem. I have an external HDD with 2 folders in it, ‘Movies’ and ‘TV Shows’. Within the ‘Movies’ folder is all my movies and when I add the folder to the library it syncs and no problem. Inside the ‘TV Shows’ folder I have 3 folders with the shows and within those are the seasons and within those are the episodes. (if that makes sense)… The naming convention is correct according to how PLEX wants it. HOWEVER - When I add the ‘TV Shows’ folder to the library is always says “No content available…”
PLEASE HELP! I could never get this to work. EVER! Unrelated I can also NEVER EVER seem to get the trailers to play before a movie as well. hahaa but that’s another discussion for another time.

How do you add the folder to “the library”?
Is this a separate library (not your movie library)?
At which point appears the message “No content available…”? (Screenshot)
TV Shows must go into a separate library of the type ‘TV Shows’.
So I have been working on this for weeks. LITERALLY just tried it again and now they are adding. I literally didn’t change or know what the difference was. Sorry for the post but thanks for the reply!
Well - I spoke to soon. So apparently they are adding now. However, I have the complete series of MAS*H. Since the computer doesn’t like the ’ * ’ symbol it’s list as MASH. But when the content is added, PLEX is pulling content and the poster for a show called Mash Up!? How do I change this?
