I have a TV series on my server with the following directory structure :-
Trying ├── Season 01 │ ├── Trying (2020) s01e01.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) s01e02.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) s01e03.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) s01e04.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) s01e05.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) s01e06.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) s01e07.mkv │ └── Trying (2020) s01e08.mkv ├── Season 02 │ ├── Trying (2020) - s02e01.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) - s02e02.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) - s02e03.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) - s02e04.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) - s02e05.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) - s02e06.mkv │ ├── Trying (2020) - s02e07.mkv │ └── Trying (2020) - s02e08.mkv └── Season 03
In Season 1 Episodes 1 and 7, Season 2 Episodes 1,2,5,6,7,8 are not detected by plex.
All episodes in Season 3 are detected.
All episodes are listed on TVdb.
Can anybody see a problem in the file structure?

What do you mean by “they’re not detected”?
Hi Tom,
Let me elaborate, the episodes in the post don’t show up at all in Plex.
Each series is getting metadata as are the episodes that are detected by plex have full Metadata.
I am using Plex TV Series as both scanner and agent.

Can we get a screenshot of the actual files? Also check the file permissions and possibly do a library scan, wait 5 minutes after it finishes scanning and post your server logs.

I’ll check for any differences in permissions between the files detected by plex and those it didn’t detect.
Will then do a rescan and post the logs later
Problem solved for some reason the file sizes for the “missing files” are as 0 bytes.
Never even thought about checking the file sizes

No I was asking for a screenshot of your file system showing the files. Often this can highlight slight typos in names that you dont notice, and may have shown your 0kb filesize issue.
