Two (2) servers with one login

I am having difficulty setting up two servers. I have one server running great on a PC. I am trying to set up a second one on a QNAP TS-869L. I have installed PMS via the app center. However, when I click on it, it takes me to a web GUI that shows my current (PC) PMS. I checked the URL, which is definitely the QNAP. I can’t seem to find any way to add a second server. I want to add some stuff and test it before migrating all of my media. I do have a Plex Pass. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I also have two servers a Linux and a shield tv server and I believe that you just need to log in with your Plex account locally to your second server and claim it. So try https://your-NAS-IP:32400/ and you should see only stuff from your NAS … then login with your Plex account and claim it. You will then have a drop down where the name of your server is with each server listed.

Here is the support link from Plex about accessing your server locally:

I tried logging into the second server (the NAS). It immediately shows me the content from the PC server. They are on two different LANs at the moment. I did make sure I was logging in locally. The URL is showing NAS-IP:32400/web/index.htm. I tried logging out of the NAS and back in. It won’t let me do anything until I log in and, once I do, it shows me the content of the first (PC) server. Tried uninstall/reinstall on the NAS. Nothing. In fact, if I go to the web GUI it doesn’t even show a second instance of the server software.

Are you just looking at the home page or libraries? Plex keeps each servers content separate, even if you have multiples. This means you need to select a server to use once you’re logged in.
At the top of the screen in the left corner should list your currently selected server.

Tried that. It doesn’t list any other servers, which is why I thought I needed to ‘claim’ it. But I can’t seem to do that either.

Apologies for missing this until now.

The web browser is sensitive to already being signed into your existing PMS account and bound to your first server (Ugh).

Open an In-Cognito window and then go to http://ip.addr.of.qnap:32400/web
-or-
Sign the web browser (not the server) out of your account, restart the browser, and go to the QNAP that way.

I have the same issue and tried the browser change - didn’t work for me

I tried it as well. Didn’t work for me.
