Two issues with RC2

Ever since I updated to RC2 there are two things (besides unable to cast and watch a full show) that I can't seem to fix.

1.  My pi is refusing URL commands.  I use iRule to control my pi and never had an issue before, i'm not at home so I can't post the refusal message, but it clearly stated that the client is refusing the connection.  I got this message while trying to show the current view.  I tired from my iRule app and from a web browser that has always worked.  I'm using the commands that go through the server ex: http://localhost:32400/system/players/mini.local/Navigation/back

2.  The time won't set correctly.  The time is set correctly in preferences, but when I go to the home screen it's off by 3 hours.

Any help on these or anyone else having the same issues?

Timezone on the latter?  Think it uses NTP, since my pi come up with the right time without me setting it...

Did you do an inplace upgrade or a virgin install of RC2 from the image?

I installed and thought things went good, I didnt have the issues you are having but it was clear my update wasn't quite smooth.

When I reslammed w/ the image directly it resolved my issues.

The TZ thing had been fixed and there is also a work around if you search the forums, I think some had a file / pointer missing.

My RC2 attempts never had TZ issues.

I would suggest trying the reslam/virgin install of RC2 via the gui installer and see if that helps and then otherwise log a bug ticket on github.

Theres suggests for the bug request, but your PMS version/os, rPI specs...etc will help the devs and other guys out along w/ any logs if the reslam doesnt work.

I’ll have to look for the time zone fix. I did an upgrade and fresh install, no change. I even tried it on a second pi that I have and same issue with URL commands

sirwankel, what url commands are you talking?

I can get some to work. but direct playing media isnt on my phone or rpi.  What PMS version are you on? wonder if this is a PMS bug?

I’m using the type that I posted above. I checked my PMS earlier today and it said it was the latest. I don’t have plexpass if they are different. I tried all the navigation commands with no luck

So i got my url commands to work by swapping out pi's.  Not sure what it is, but url commands won't work on one of my pi's.  I even flashed the SD card on it twice with no luck

does it work on your nexus? I tried my phone and doesnt there either

im not familar with irule but i meant can you watch on nexus vs pi? Not sure you meant using   irule via nexus. You still think something is wrong or just somehow have a bad pi?

Time Zone issue has been fixed. will be available in next release :)
