Last week, i was freeloading, as some of you would call it, with the free(hint) version of Plexserver that I had running on that server for 4 years, without any problem on any devices except the IOS (other story about abuse the FREE SOFTWARE).
So, I got actually paid my PLEXPASS and as happy as I was I wanted to be engulfed with the extra options, so I stroke down on my sofa and turned my tv on…
The day before I had been watching a show and now I wanted to see how it goes on, when I noticed that all my options I have had there were gone and nowhere to be found, literally, it only said SEARCH…
Weird, the day before it worked, never turned off, works all the time, no problems, you know, lets support these guys, paypal away and no more video to watch…
On my pc, laptop, smartphone, Ipad, hell, almost on my microwave I can watch content from my server, except my Raspberry Pi with rasplex.
Now I hear you think, well, that’s the problem with that Pi, no no!!! I have two rooms, tv’s installed and bothe RPi’s did not work anymore.
Checked network, and everything I could think of, even did one a hard reset and the other a soft reset, I even switched the firewall on my server to OFF, just to see if it would work, well, NO.
Even the time starts at 01:00 hour, everytime I try. All settings are in order, network, dhcp, dns, domain, gateway, timeservers, location everything…
Still no connection. Loging in with name and password, waits until the grass grows, Pin code?? Nope, running circle, that works, all the time…
Is there not anyone from staff, that can help? Was paying my punishment? If we say one wrong word, the whole community lights up like a damn christmastree, but the problem does not go away.
