Hello. On my WD MyCloud Home NAS I have all my photos and home videos kept in one single folder. They are all joined together, organised in sub-folders by date or event. That main folder is located in the Plex/Shared Home Videos folder, and associated to a Plex library. The problem is that on this library only videos appear.
I tried to created a Photos library and associate it with the same folder (Shared Home Videos), but when I begin to create that library, the Choose folder option is not available.
Isn’t it possible to associate two libraries with the same folder in My Cloud Home?
How can I access my photos without having to reorganise my entire archive (which is quite large)?
Thank you, and please excuse my less than perfect english.
Don’t know about cloud home, but I do it from time to time with ny NAS. I have a Teaching Company folder with both video and audio lectures. So one library is videos aimed at that folder and the other is audio aimed at that folder. Works fine. Each ignores what it can’t deal with.
That’s one of the restrictions of Plex on the MyCloud Home.

Can I create my own libraries?
Yes and no. You can create libraries in the Plex Media Server. However, you cannot specify a custom location for the content. Instead, libraries will automatically point to the corresponding subfolder inside the Files area. So, place your television content inside the
Shared TV Showssubfolder, music inside theShared Musicsubfolder, etc.
