Two Plex Servers, One Tuner

Hello,

I have two servers set up at different locations. One of the locations, is hooked up to a SiliconDust tuner for DVR features. However, when I use my other location (the one without the live TV), it still shows a guide as if the feature were enabled. Of course, if I try and tune to one of the channels, I get “failed to tune” (or something similar).

It would be nice if the Plex instance would conform to its setup. (It would be really nice if it connected to the other Plex and streamed the liveTV, but that might be a bridge too far).

What client are you using?

Roku and the Web client. Android is weird: I can’t seem to figure out how to separate the “Live TV” from the two servers when using the Android app

The Android app no longer has the option to select a server. You are connected to all servers. When viewing the Guide in the Android mobile app, there is a drop down at the top telling you which server’s guide you are accessing. If you only have 1 server with a guide, then that server will always be listed.

This is exactly what it is doing. You’ll need to provide logs (PMS and from the app) so we can check what the error is, but this should work.

Here’s the screengrab of what I get on the REMOTE server via the web interface

If there’s a specific logfile I can provide, would you let me know its location?

Thanks

The log would be from PMS. Settings \ Server \ Help \ Download Logs. It’s a zip file, so just upload the entire file.
