I proposed downgrading back to 1.16.0.1226, deleting the DVR and then upgrading back to latest and re-adding the DVR as per this thread.
Interestingly, I downgraded to v1.16.2.1297 just now to investigate a separate issue (which I will post in another thread), but I lost my DVR in doing so. Upgrading back to 1.16.3.1402 brought my DVR back with nothing lost.
