Un-responsive clients on Android only(?)

Heya!

Not sure if this is just me or if the issue is known. Since about a week ago I can’t seem to reach Plex on my Nexus 5X nor my Android SHIELD TV. All below examples are tested locally, and PMS access seems to work otherwise accordingly.

No server is found on my Nexus nor the SHIELD.

Message on the Nexus is the following:
“No servers found. Install a Plex Media Server where you keep the media to get the most out of Plex.”

The message on the SHIELD is the following:
“No servers found.”, then in red text below it, “Server version 0.9.7.13 or higher is required”.

I’ve checked that PMS is up and running without any issue. Infact it works fine in the Web client and on an iPad Mini 2 (not sure about the client version on that one tho).

Does infact look like a client issue. Below is tested on the Nexus but not the SHIELD (because I’m a lazy bum, and football is on).

I was running client version 4.26.2.654 when the above issue started to occur. Downgraded to 4.25.2.588 and voilà, it works. Any version above 4.25.2.588 had the same issue.

I’ll keep my one man monologue running by complaining… just a taaaaad bit (not much, not much at all) that this is a small nuisance. Downgrading by downloading another APK does not give me the option to activate an old payment for the app. It does however let me buy the app anew. Which I don’t like :slight_smile:
