Unable to access Plex externally

Server Version#: 1.28.2.6106
Player Version#: Any
As of today, I am unable to access anything from my Plex server external to my internal home network. I verified all port forwarding is properly working, via a remote telnet session to the port opened for it. I also verified connection integrity via iPerf from an external source and was receiving gigabit connection still (synchronous fiber connection). Everything on my end appears to be correct, but something is blocking external connections from being able to see my library.

From inside the settings, when I go to remote access, it is showing “Private Unknown IP, Public Unknown IP, Internet” all showing an X, indicating a failure. I have obviously done all trouble shooting locally, including rebooting computer, rebooting router and switch stack along with updating the Plex server as a new update also came available today and restarting the remote connection service. I have the port set statically as well to match my port forward. No dice across the board. This is for multiple versions of plex outside my home network, have tested with Samsung TV, Android phones, Xbox Series S and Roku, all with the same results.

What’s the deal here? Anybody else experiencing this? Side note, this only started happening today.

Thanks!

Everybody is affected by same problem

Appreciated. I found that out a little bit ago myself. I do appreciate you letting me know though!

Restart your PMS, and for info, see:

Appreciated, it appears to be working now!
