I’m going to drop this here, in case it helps some folks. This should work for anyone running a Linux (or FreeBSD) based operating system, with SSH access (this includes NAS devices). As stated in the link, by tunneling via SSH and browsing via localhost (127.0.0.1) the claim process should be more or less automatic.
Read the post and the linked article. Make sure you understand both. If you don’t have SSH enabled on your NAS device, you may need to. And you need to know the user name and password.
