Unable to access server remotely since last evening

Server Version#: 1.16.2.1297 (Fedora)
Player Version#: 3.106.2
I’m having problems today with remote access. My gateway logs port forwarding traffic, and I’m not seeing any traffic since last night:

Traffic is permitted and forwarding it to the correct server (192.168.1.72) on the correct port (32400) on TCP.

This morning it’s telling me that Remote Access is “Not available outside your network”. When I tell it to try again, it connects, says it’s working for roughly 10 seconds, then gives me the error message again. I’ve tried with and without unpnp turned on.

Anyone? I’ve restarted the service, tried and tried again. Not sure why it isn’t working.

Same happening to me and I’ve been trying to go through all my router and windows server setup to find out what is causing it and might have changed. I can still access the server remotely, but only via indirect route.

Mine was working fine for around 2-3 years remotely. Noticed this week that it wasn’t, although exactly how long its been an issue I’m not sure as I’ve been on holiday. Anyway went through the troubleshooter, tried switching everything off and on again, disabled firewalls, anti-virus, changed router settings and nothing. Just would not connect. After 2 nights of messing around I finally gave up and put everything back how it was. Still would connect and then show discounted within 10 seconds. This morning I get up and the connection is working and I’m off the indirect. Something has changed, but its not any of my settings.

I actually gave up to the point I reinstalled Plex on my linux server, and now I can’t connect to it remotely or locally. I confirmed I can telnet on port 32400, so the port is listening, but when it authenticates to the Plex mothership, it can’t connect. Something is really screwy. No change on the gateway/firewall settings. I’m not even seeing outside traffic directed at 32400 since last week.
