I logged back into my account, and I have Plex Media Server open on my device, but when I go to the Plex Web app, it displays on the side “Your Media” with a plus sign and not the name of my server. I’ve attempted to restart my device several times, and it does nothing. How can I fix this? This is very frustrating for me, because I have backed up several movies onto a hard drive, and I want to watch those movies on Plex through my hard drive.
You did reset your Plex password ~2days ago. This removed all devices from your Plex account, including your server.
You now need to re-claim your server (i.e. connect it to your Plex account)
Stop Plex server using its task tray icon, then restart it using the regular Windows Start menu.
