Unable to cast to Sonos

I have recently installed the Plex server (v1.22.0.4163) on my Synology NAS. Everything works fine except casting to Sonos. I have 4 S2 devices in my home and when you try to cast to any of them from the Plex app (or PlexAmp) on with Mac or iPhone there is a period of about a minute where there is a busy indicator and then you either get a message saying there is a problem, or nothing happens.
I can play Plex content from within the Sonos app.

I have the same issue here:
Sonos app => select plex title => works
Plex amps play => selecting Sonos as target => doesn’t work => switch to sonos app and see the error: Verbindung xyz…plex.direct:32400 wurde getrennt (connection was disconnected).

Known problems: dns rebind protection can prevent that as Plex is sending a dns entry pointing to the external IP address of the router.
But I have deactivated this for plex.direct on my Fritz Box. But not sure how to test this. (BTW is it correct that the plex.connect dns entry is pointing to the external address or should it point to the internal address).

Ok. Just completely confused. While trying to create the screenshots it did now work the first time in 3 days…

Could this be connected to disabling encrypted connections and / or IP v6 in settings / network?

I think I still post it as maybe other people didn’t know abount the dns rebind protecting thing.

Regards
Petr

I realised I don’t have remote access on the server on MyCloudHome, and was previously using a laptop connected to old external hardrives where the content was living.

I now realise my main problem is not having external access on MyCloudHome based Plex server.
