Hi , am lifetime plex pass user. I want to change the email address on my account , but when I try , it says " email already taken", I’ve always been somewhat confused when opening my plex server , I usually get the message " indirect connection etc". The email address that I want to change to is my own , Its a gmail address and I have in the past logged into plex using google so the fault is probably my own but I would appreciate some one looking at my account to see whether I have some how got more than one server set up ?
I don’t know if you have more than 1 server, but it sounds like you do have more than 1 Plex account. Sign into the other account, change the email to something else, delete the account. You should then be able to change the email on your current account to that one.
If the account was created using a Google account only, you can’t change the email, just go ahead and delete the account.
Thanks for replying , unfortunately I can’t delete the offending account. When I select delete account then add password , it says "this page isn;t working " http error 429. I have even changed the password and am still getting that error when I try to delete the account.
Can you PM me the email address of that account?
