I am unable to claim my server. I am also not able to sign into my plex account via my PC. I have to use my phone browser

Are you getting an error when trying to sign in?
It’s saying that there is any error signing into Plex. I’m able to sign on plex via my mobile web browsers but not my PC
Is your mobile through cellular? If so, sounds like you might have an IP block due to too many failed attempts. Blocks last an hour from the last failed attempt, so make sure you wait at least an hour before trying again.
My mobile is through wifi. It’s weird how I’m only blocked on my pc

Then it’s not an IP block. What browser are you using? Have you tried another browser or private/incognito mode?

I’m not sure what’s going on. I had someone check and there is no IP block on your account. are you using a VPN? Could be the VPN is being blocked.
Not using a VPN. I go on to the website and when I try to sign in, it says there is a problem signing in. I can sign in on my mobile browser just fine. I’ve also tried to claim my library on the mobile site and said there was an error and to try again.
Are you signing in using your email and password or with a linked account? If using a linked account like Google, make sure you are not already signed into a different Google account. Try using the email and password instead.

I’m stumped. If you can sign in using your phone connected via WiFi, then it should also work from your PC.
Try creating a new Plex account and see if you can sign into that account, just to check if there is something blocking the sign in process on your PC. If that works, create a Plex Home and add that new account to it. Then see if you can switch to that account after signing into the new account.
I’ve created a new account and when I try to sign in on my pc on different browsers the message “there was a problem signing in to Plex” still comes up. It does take a long time for the sign in page to load and a long time for the sign in process. I’ve tried with other websites and they work fine.
I don’t know if this helps but ok the general page in settings, when it searches for the latest update it says something went wrong and suggests I install manually
