I upgraded from 1.18.7 to 1.19.5 and now my server is not recognized at all by plex. I can go to http://MY:32400/web, I get the error " The server you’re trying to access doesn’t want to let you in. Make sure you’re signed in as a user with access to this server." But I am signed into the main admin account. It first says unable to connect insecurely, which it didn’t before. But even if I allow insecure connections, I get a “No Soup For You - You do not have access to this server” error.
UPDATE: Rolled back to 1.18.7 and STILL cannot connect.
Server Version#: 1.19.5
Player Version#: Plex Web
I figured out how to get the logs directly from my server without access to the interface.
When I try to SSH tunnel on port 32400 so I can tunnel in and access it from localhost:32400, I can SSH in but then get the error “channel 4: open failed: connect failed: Connection refused”
It’s a remote server in a datacenter. I am accessing it from my home computer, I used to access it via plex.tv/web, but it isn’t working. It won’t even work when I try to access it from the web.
NEVERMIND. My media server was off. When connecting to it remotly. I noticed that my server had been WHIPED OUT!! and I am starting fresh. What is going on?
You cannot setup / claim a server from a WAN IP. (PMS protects your server/data if not associated with an account from unauthorized access as the admin)
SSH channel 4 is a problem which I’m working on. Somewhere / Someone changed how SSH works. Apparently somebody thought channels 3 & 4 are a security risk
I claimed server again, now my account has TWO servers. And even when connecting to localhost, and adding all my libraries, I STILL get “No Soup” Despite being on localhost
