[SOLVED] Server unavailable even with direct connection. "No Soup For You."

Server Version#: plexmediaserver-plexpass-1.19.4.2935 (FreeBSD Package install)
Player Version#: All but lets say Web, Version Version 4.40.1

I recently had an email advising of a login that I did not recognise so I changes my password. From then on all access to my own server has been revoked. Even with a direct connection.

The Shield TV, Android Phone, Windows app and Chrome browser all fail to access the library. However, while I can log on to the server directly, I cannot access the server settings.

I have restarted, updated to the latest Package available for FreeBSD, and followed the guide here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/

I have been using Plex since it first forked and have never has a problem accessing my media.

Unfortunately I do not have access to the network locally due to travel restrictions on my city but I have SSH and router access. I have not changed any settings other than my password, which is working well enough to access my Plex account but not the Library.

Does anyone have any other ideas short of reinstalling the whole thing?

Thanks in advance

Since you’re on a different network and you’ll need to claim the server again, you probably need to follow the instructions in the “On a Different Network” section of the installation document:

https://support.plex.tv/articles/200288586-installation/

In short, establish an SSH tunnel to proxy traffic from a local port to the remote system on 32400:
ssh ip.address.of.server -L 8888:localhost:32400

Then, browse to http://localhost:8888/web to login to the server and claim it, if necessary. After that you should be able to access it normally from app.plex.tv.

I’ll have to set it up tomorrow but will update once it’s done.

That did it

Thanks!
