Unable to create and manage libraries

Player Version#: 4.140.0
Environment: Plex Media Server (Ubuntu, only terminal access). Accessing browser via other Ubuntu machine with SSH tunnel to Plex Media Server.

I have installed my first Plex Media Server and after a few attempts managed to claim it. But when I try to follow this guide https://support.plex.tv/articles/200288926-creating-libraries/ unfortunately I end up at a blind end fairly quickly, as there is no media server to select in my settings, nor any of the menu points from the guide. Making me think that I am not accessing the right app. I hope that there are someone who can guide me in the right direction.

If you click on “authorized Devices” on the left side, do you server listed?

And I’m confused about connecting to your PMS machine via ssh. Can’t you just put https://pms ip address:32400/web in the address bar and connect?

Never mind about the ssh thing . I found out how to do it and gave it a try and it worked.

What concerns me is there is no server showing on the left side. It should be showing up right below the Plex Web section. This is suggesting to me that you server claim didn’t work.

If you log out and back in, does Plex state that it is unclaimed server?

Logging out and back in again does nothing. No unclaimed server notice or anything. Just the Plex home page.

I do see my server (Hetzner Server is the name).

Probably should of led with that, Hetzner is banned by Plex.

Where can I find a list of banned servers? And not related to fixing the issue, do you know why it is banned?

There isn’t a list, Plex PR follows the not allowed to comment on an issue because it is the subject of “ongoing litigation”

There are a few threads Not Allowed to use Hetzner but unless you read these forums daily you are not likely to know.
