Unable to download the New Plex Client on MacOS

Continuing the discussion from Plex for Mac and Windows:

I am getting the following error when my Plex Desktop App is running for about 1 minute.

Application Specific Information:
terminating with uncaught exception of type std::runtime_error: Log: Error handling format string 'Download %s of %s progress %s of %s bytes (%d%%)': invalid type specifier
abort() called

You can just download manually and replace what is in your applications folder. Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More

FYI same is happening with Windows. If you’ve any Windows clients perform a manual download/install as @BigWheel mentions.

The error is also present in the latest manual download for MacOS, version: 1.35.1.2632-c6783c78

It just crashed on me.

would you mind sharing the logs from the app.

Same thing seems to be happening on my end starting today on
Version 1.34.1.2590-74ea7099

@mickydej can you please manually update to 1.35.1 and let me know if you still get the same thing
