Unable to fetch certficate from cloud

Server Version#: v1.20.2.3370-b1b651549

Suddenly I am unable to connect to my PMS over TLS. Falling back to http works. When the server starts, I see the following message in the logs:

ERROR - CERT: Could not fetch certificate from the cloud: 404

I have tried signing out of PMS and back in, but the result is the same. I believe this issue started today.

Anyone ever see anything like this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My server is generating 404 Cert errors

Server Version 1.20.1.3252
Please reset the cert for server: htpx

Thank you in advance

@captainsockpuppet

You have 3 servers with the same name.

How would you like me to proceed?

@ChuckPa I don’t actually have three server, but I think its registering older instances of the same server.
Reset the latest and that should do it. Or if there is another way I can identify the current server for you I’ll happily do so.

Edit. I’m going to name the new one to HTPX-Current.

There is no need to rename it. I can see everything. I only ask because I can remove the older ones if you wish while I’m there.

I will monitor what you’re doing and proceed to follow your lead.

@ChuckPa
Thank you so much for your assistance. Please feel free to remove the older instances and reset the cert on the newest.

Have a great rest of the weekend.

@captainsockpuppet

  1. Server certificate reset. You may restart it now
  2. Other (old) instances removed

Plex.tv will clean up the two I just deleted.

@ChuckPa
Seems to be working properly again.
Thanks for you help and excellent response time!
Have a great day and rest of the weekend!

You as well.

You’re free to rename it back to its former name .

Here’s a snippet from my logs, 404 error and other cert errors. I’ve just stopped my server. Can you please resolve this cert issue for me?

@amprsand

You show : The user has 3 servers: Bilbo Swaggins, Lyons Den, Bilbo Swaggins

Obviously at least one is ‘dead’.

Please come join us here (the focal thread) and let me know which server(s) to address.

I am closing this thread in favor of the focal thread (to save my sanity) :slight_smile:
