Unable to Find Live TV Feature - Plex Media Server Windows - iOS Device

Hi,

I have PMS 1.5.6.3790 installed on a Windows 10 machine. It says my server is up to date and that the the latest version that can be downloaded on Plex’s website. I will be testing from an iOS device to watch the liveTV.

However, on Plex support, it states “Live TV requires Plex Media Server v1.7.2 or newer.” Does anyone know where to get that build? I am a Plex Pass member and did the Plex DVR Beta when it initially was released. I am fully running with the DVR.

Running 1.7.2
There is NO live play capability I can find…

In the Plex Server Settings, you need to be on the Plex Pass update Channel

Go to the downloads section of this website and get 1.7.2 and install it manually.

@jjrjr1, review the FAQ on Live TV and the other threads for details on what clients work with it (iOS and Android TV only at this time).

If you have the DVR Beta, click on it and hit the delete this DVR button (read pop up first). This should bring up the Plex live service option click on that and fill in the information (zip code) they ask for and you should be all set, assuming you have the plex pass
