Unable to install latest plex on Qnap 4.4.2

Qnap 4.4.2
Qnap ts 873.
So i can no longer update my Plex on my qnap. and since qnap only have the old 1.1.6 version of plex it is way back, i know this nas have both hardware and software support for decoding. But when i install manually it just pops up saying check log. and the log is empty.

So not sure what to do…

Please confirm current status?

  1. Downloaded the package from: Plex.tv/downloads or via App Center ?
  2. Installing pops up the message? (can you screenshot it please?)

It was downlaoded from the app telling me there is an update. and the message was just unable to install. i found the problem. it seems the qnap app centre is not happy with reverse proxy so therefore i could not install once i went by IP it worked.
