media player will not install on my dell desktop. media server buffers too much, want to use media player for my movies

Apologies for being a little thick…
You say it’s not installing but it’s also buffering? Do you the Plex Media Player it’s buffering during playback — is that on an older version than the one you cannot install?

when I watch it from player it runs from desktop, I thought. When movies on run from server is when it buffers alot. It did work earlier. Either a Dell update or widows update wiped it out??

the server downloaded fine, its the media player that will not down load at all!!

From where are you trying to download the player?

it says its the new plex media player download. 2.46.0.1031

Where are you trying to download the app from?
Are you using the link from above or are you trying to update from within the Plex Media Player?
