Hi all! New here!
So, I’m trying to invite friends to share my library, but unfortunately, when I go into settings to change the remote access setting, it does not stay turned on, and turns off almost instantly. How do I fix this, please?
Also, are friends an;e to access the library through tab;ets alone via the app? They should not need to have a server or anything but an account, correct?

Yeah they will only need a Plex account.
Going back to remote access issue what OS is your Plex server running on?
You also will probably need a port forward setting up on your router.
I’m on mobile so it’s difficult to link to but there is plenty of help withhow to do this in the user guides.

I am running Windows 10, btw. I have McAfee, but I’ve made an exception for Plex. I also have a VPN, but have tried it off and on, to no effect.
I suspect I may have to port forward. I may also have a double NAT, but I’m unsure as to how to get rid of that and fix the setting.
Yeah double nat is something I have never had to deal with.
