Unable to load latest update. Plex is installed on D:drive instead of C: drive

Player Version#:
Unable to update to version 1.40.5.8854.
Probably because my Plex is installed on DL drive and Windows is on C: drive.
How do I tell it to update on the actual install location?

Uninstall it from D: , then install it on C:

Make sure, NOT to use any kind of “registry cleaner” or “uninstaller” kind of apps.
