Unable to load metadata for certain tv shows

Several shows appear without posters/metadata. Attempting to refresh metadata does not work. When editing an affected show and clicking on Posters, none appear, and the following error message appears in the console:
Couldn't check for the existence of file "/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb/Plex Media Server/Metadata/TV Shows/b/5d602b2a8442d2973c1993228759b15c8f6c0ec.bundle/Uploads/posters": boost::filesystem::status: Permission denied: "/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb/Plex Media Server/Metadata/TV Shows/b/5d602b2a8442d2973c1993228759b15c8f6c0ec.bundle/Uploads/posters"

Navigating to the TV Shows metadata directory on the device from a file manager app only shows folders 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,c,d,e,f. There appear to be files 3,9,a,b that are inaccessible due to permission denied.

Ended up resetting plex server and starting from scratch.

Hi…
I am having the same problem, posters not appearing nor loading, even if the match metadata is properly found. It was working perfectly fine until yesterday, and I did not change a thing to my config.
Any idea that doesn’t involve starting from scratch ?
