Unable to make new server with previous harddrives and new NAS hardware

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.41.5.9522-a96edc606-x86_64_DSM72

Player Version#:

I had to RMA my DS920+ and I am now trying to reinstall Plex on my machine. I am using the same HDDs that were in the previous NAS in my previous Plex folders. I reinstalled the latest Plex version onto the NAS and when I completed that it created a new folder called PlexMediaServer. When I went to Plex to create a new library and selected the existing Plex folder that has my Movies and TV folders inside it, I was unable to view of the nested folders and could only select the top level ‘Plex’ folder.

I thought that I might have installed something incorrectly and uninstalled PMS from my Synology before realizing that I probably should not have done that and come here first.

Now I’m trying to reinstall PMS and am not sure if I should be doing a normal installation or should be claiming a lost server? A little lost here, anyone know the right way to manage this?

My previous NAS was running DSM 6.x. This is the first time I have used DSM 7.x +.

Thanks!

I’m an idiot, didn’t follow the instructions correctly when installing PMS, all is good now.
