Hi Folks,
I’ve recently added a few items to my Plex folder. Ice Guardians is one of them - the 2016 Documentary/TV Show about Ice Hockey. I put it in the Plex folder, but it doesn’t show up in the Library. So i used WebTools, and it shows as unmatched:
Is there a way i can force/manually add the video?
I’m running the media server on a Windows 10 PC that i custom built, and the files are stored on a Synology NAS drive.
I sorted this out, I’d initially added it to the “TV Shows” section. Which uses the TVDB. TVDB doesn’t list the show, but IMDB does. So i re-added it under the movies section, and it now appears.
A “TV Show” in the Plex sense is a “series”.
It must be named as such or it won’t appear in a tv show library.

It may be possible that this particular documentary is also listed as an episode in a series of documentaries. You might have to search a bit on TheTVDB. They appear under the label of the station for which they are comissioned, like ‘BBC documentaries’ or ‘National Geographic’ or ‘Nova’
