Why am getting this error ?
without changing anything on my setup I started to get this error randomly, reset entire player , downgraded it , end up with different error about my server hardware not being powerful enough.
look on the internet for a solution , many posts for the same error but none of the solutions suggested worked for me
Same here! Nvidia Shield Pro - latest versions of everything (server / player).
on WebOS (LG TV) and IOS same files are playing without any issues nu matter if converted or to original bitrate. Why on Android TV this doesn’t work @PLEX team?

I think I have found the problem in my case , for whatever reason setting for converting files was the default one, a new install on server should reset that to normal to play as it is and if the speed to internet is not good then you can choose to convert it.
I’m getting this in the current version, has anyone solved this? I’m getting this error when Ffwd a file less than 1GB, it’s ridiculous.
I’m also having the same issues, APP will open and navigate all is AOK but will not play files. Have tried “exit early”, uninstalled and reinstalled not change.
Running on a GB powerline (averages 800mb).
Shame really, have been using PLEX for years and now it looks like it’ll be binned
Still no update? Attempting to play on Amazon Fire TV by remote streaming. No issues at home.

Are having problems with live tv, or all files?
I seem to have the same problem. Just now for the first time. Could it be a Plex Database problem? As I can play the files with my LG TV without problems. It seems it cannot find the file. I will do some more analysing.
