Unable to record from EPG

I’ve been running PMS on my Synology 218+ since January 2019, it has been very good until recently. Since updating I can no longer record from EPG, the “record” shows on the EPG but in the record schedule it shows “no new airings”. Ive attached some screen shots. The screen shots are from the PLEX player on my iMac.

I’ve read a bit recently about EPG problems but no-one has made it very clear what the problems are & if there are workarounds, especially in simple, easy to understand replies.

Also the EPG on my Sony Android TV has nothing to display, this used to work & I could make recordings from the TV PLEX player. It’s the latest version from the Google Playstore.
I also have the latest PLEX player on my iMac, the EPG is working but still cannot get the recordings to work.

Ive been pleased with PLEX & bought the annual pass with a view to upgrading to the lifetime pass but at the moment PLEX is looking the best media server.

One possibility i can think of

On your first screen shot of the advanced settings, if you scroll to the top, does it have HD preferred or HD only?

If it’s set to HD only it might be that it’s not flagged as in HD

I experienced similar behavior with the recent Plex update/EPG change. I had to delete my existing scheduled recordings and create new ones. All the new ones worked correctly. Not sure if that’s what you are experiencing.
